Proposal to move page
[edit]We should use English terms that people are likely to understand, we should move this page to Urinating boys or Peeing boys and have Puer mingens redirect here. Carlinmack (talk) 15:22, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
- WP:COMMONNAME is the policy here. Perhaps because of the rich variety of English alternative terms available, google searches suggest that "puer mingens" remains the most common term in art history WP:RS, and has not been replaced by "peeing/pissing/urinating/weeing boy". Also, searches for "Urinating boys" are, I'd guess, not most likely to be looking for this motif. So no. But it's good to have redirects - I see you've done two.
